Maggie Izquierdo Lamorte is a Florida Supreme Court Certified Mediator in the areas of Family Law, Circuit Civil and Foreclosures. Ms. Lamorte is also a Qualified Arbitrator with over over 17 years of experience as a trial attorney in the areas of matrimonial/family, commercial/contract and probate law. Additionally, Ms. Lamorte holds an MBA (Masters in Business Administration. Prior to attending law school Ms. Lamorte was employed as a Sr.Financial Analyst. Ms. Lamorte's legal and financial experience are a great asset in the mediation process. An active member of the Florida Bar and Federal/Southern District Bar as well as the Dispute Resolution Section Ms. Lamorte has been a presenter and a Speaker on Diversity Issues in Mediation at local and State Conferences and enjoys representing clients from diverse backgrounds. As a Cuban-American fluent in Spanish Ms. Lamorte understands and has first hand experienced in dealing with multi-cultural issues that affect the outcome of mediations, particularly in South Florida. Ms. Lamorte's extensive experience in litigation, negotiation and settlement includes Divorce/Dissolution of marriage, Paternity, Child Support, Jurisdictional/Hague Convention, Probate, Foreclosures and Commercial/insurance/contract litigation and Workplace Dispute Resolution.
