New Teleseminar Program for 2009

We invite you to consider submitting a brief proposal to organize a teleseminar. We are initiating teleseminars to encourage professional development and expand our professional virtual community. Please note that one need not be a member of the EPP Section to present or otherwise participate in the series (though we hope that this series will inspire you to become active in EPP).

We envision a series of one to one-and-a-half hour seminars that:

  • Explore a particular “how to” in depth (e.g., process mapping, developing implementable agreements); or
  • Discuss lessons learned from a particularly interesting case; or
  • Discuss a new area or issue for practice, or a new policy and how it might affect practice (e.g., hunger policy, revisions to forest rules)

If you are interested in hosting a teleseminar – and we hope that you are – please send a short note to Professional Development Co-Chairs Cindy Cook (ccook@adamantaccord.com) and Juliana Birkhoff (jbirkhoff@cbuilding.org). In your brief proposal, please describe your proposed topic and format and any other relevant logistical information that you want us to consider. Proposals and suggestions are welcome any time.

2009 Environment and Public Policy Section Annual Conference in Denver (June 11-13): information will be posted soon!
