March 26-27Dearborn MI2-Day Advanced Training in Elder Mediation In this training, we will focus on the mediator's responsibility toward inclusion of the older person's voice in mediation and techniques to achieve that. At the conclusion of the training, you will be prepared to mediate elder care and adult guardianship cases. Topics include Guardianship/conservatorship law and practice; Capacity and disability issues; Working with complex family dynamics; Mental and physical effects of aging, disabilities and accommodation in mediation; Ethical standards for elder mediators.
