Conflict Resolution Services
The Center for Conflict Resolution will, on a fee basis, provide conflict analysis, training and conflict resolution services to individuals, businesses, organizations, and churches. These services are provided by Center staff and by other individuals associated with the Center who have the requisite training, skills, and experience to effectively deal with conflict. The Center provides conflict analysis, training, and conflict resolution services through the following three programs: Positive Solutions Institute The Center’s in-house consulting group provides training in conflict management, prevention, resolution and reconciliation, as well as direct conflict intervention and mediation services to individuals, churches, businesses, and schools. 1. Alternatives in Mediation A free service to Abilene Christian University (ACU) students, staff and faculty, the Alternatives in Mediation (AIM) program encourages the productive resolution of conflict and teaches the skills and spirit of peacemaking through mediation. The Center for Conflict Resolution is committed to making all students, faculty, and staff at ACU aware of the tremendous benefit of recognizing conflict and addressing it realistically from a Christian perspective.
