Peer Mediation Programs
CMS is currently working with area schools that are establishing or strengthening in-school peer mediation programs. Peer mediators develop leadership skills through this 6-12 hour training.
Price for training ranges from $350-$600. Ongoing support to students or staff is billed at $75/hr. CMS provides cirriculum, trainers and volunteers to mentor students as they learn to mediate disputes among their fellow students.
CMS works with school staff to tailor the program to individual school needs. We are currently working with Thurston High School, Jefferson and Cascade Middle Schools, and Village School.
