CHRISTINA GUTIERREZ TIGERT Coordinator Ms. Christina Gutierrez Tigert is a public outreach coordinator at CommuniQuest and has been involved in the aviation industry for several years. Ms. Tigert provides support for public outreach programs and dispute resolution services offered by CommuniQuest. She is responsible for a wide range of airport projects requiring research, writing and administrative support. She is also the mediation coordinator, responsible for scheduling, preparation of court documents, and attorney follow up. Ms. Tigert coordinates the logistical arrangements for public meetings and publicity for the public outreach program. Her responsibilities as coordinator cover a wide variety of tasks which include Previous work experience includes a position with Los Angeles World Airports at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) in the Noise Management Division. Responsibilities included data correction of flight tracks for LAX and Ontario International Airport (ONT), data validation for the use of a new Airport Noise and Operations Monitoring System (ANOMS), and investigation of early turns of aircraft over communities surrounding the airports. She also participated in Noise Roundtable Meetings with community members and assisted in noise monitoring data collection. Ms. Tigert is a graduate from California State University Los Angeles with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Aviation Administration, as well as an Associate in Science Degree in Commercial Flight from Mount San Antonio College. Christina is an active member of the South West Chapter of the American Association of Airport Executives (SWAAAE). Her role with SWAAAE is as student outreach coordinator. She helps students network with airport executives, the purpose of which is to connect recent graduates or current students to potential employment opportunities. She also volunteers her time to the Student Chapter of SWAAAE at California State University Los Angeles for public outreach and recruitment of students into the organization. Interests include, fixed-wing flying, hiking, bicycle riding, and reading novels.
