Description of Practice
Speciality in conflict mediation in the workplace, cross-cultural mediation in English, French and German. Practice includes, but is not restricted to: pharmaceutical and insurance companies; family firms (certification from the Family Firm Institute). In addition to mediation, Germinal Knowledge does training in conflict management in companies. Germinal Knowledge is the French distributor for the Mediation Training Institute (www.mediationworks.com and www.mediation-training-institute.eu) and Personal Strengths Publishing (www.personalstrengths.com and www.personalstrengths.fr). David Tudor has both French and American nationalities and lives in eastern France (southern Alsace).

The role of the mediator is to accompany each of the participants in the conflict in the self-discovery of their journey to the conflict situation. The mediator helps each realize the interpretation, judgment and constraints that they are subconsciously imposing on the other. The technique is of mirroring, active listening, empathizing, but also challenging and insisting.
