Alex Derr has been working with Derr & Villarreal since early 2017, originally serving as a Legal Assistant after graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a B.A. in Political Studies. Alex continues to support our office remotely as he pursues his M.P.A. at the University of Colorado at Denver. He helps create content for our social media pages, website and other communication channels, while providing intake and case support as needed for our staff and attorneys. Alex works hard to tell our story, share our values, and help our clients see our passion for helping others through a difficult time. He enjoys helping others learn about their options, and craft a pathway forward. When he’s not working, Alex enjoys climbing 14ers in the Rocky Mountains, visiting local breweries, and taking care of his vegetable garden.
