Chahat Chawla is Associate Counsel at Singapore International Arbitration Centre.
Chahat earned his Bachelor of Laws, BA., LL.B. (Hons.) degree securing a First Class result from School of Law, Christ University, Bangalore. He also holds a Master’s Degree in International Arbitration and Dispute Resolution from the National University of Singapore. During law school, Chahat was the Convenor of the Journals and Publication Society and the Co-Convenor of the Moot Court Society. He also participated in moot court competitions and has won individual and team awards. Prior to joining SIAC, he was a Senior Associate at one of India’s top-tier law firms and has assisted leading Senior Advocates in various arbitrations and litigations.
Chahat is qualified to practice law in India and is fluent in English and Hindi.
