Donald Mellman began his career in medicine. After twenty-six years as a private practice neurosurgeon, Don earned an MPH to supplement his MBA and has been certified by the Florida Supreme Court in civil circuit mediation. He now cares for the indigent, examines people who have been tortured or suffered human slavery, and mediates healthcare disputes. He does international and domestic healthcare policy and management work, focusing on human rights, environmental equity, and patient care and safety. Don consults on neurosurgical issues, mentors NGO leaders and assists with their management challenges. He writes and speaks on these matters. His most recent worked has centered on the Middle East.
