Gayle Landt is the Executive Director of Beyond War. She has twenty years experience in conflict resolution and community building, and is the designer of the New Community Meeting (NCM) conflict resolution model. NCM has been successfully applied to gay rights, growth and sustainable development, and other conflicts in Lane County, Oregon and elsewhere. Landt received the Beyond War Citizen’s Award in 1990 and a Eugene City community service award for her conflict resolution work in 1996. She is a dynamic and inspirational speaker. When she is not promoting the ideas of Beyond War and building community within the organization, Landt enjoys trail riding on her Tennessee Walking Horse mare, or spending time with her husband Martin Jones and their family.
