Stephanie Bell is a mediator, trainer, facilitator and the Assistant Program Manager for the King County Alternative Dispute Resolution Program and the Interlocal Conflict Resolution Group. Prior to this position, as the Alternative Dispute Resolution Coordinator for the City of Seattle, Stephanie designed and implemented an employment mediation Program for the City workforce. She has also served as the Program Manager for the King County Dispute Resolution Center, a private non-profit, and as a research attorney for the Federal Public Defender. Stephanie has a B.A. from Brown University and a J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law. She is active in the ADR Section of the Washington State Bar and is a volunteer with the King County Dispute Resolution Center. Stephanie has presented on workplace dispute resolution and mediation skills to various groups and organizations including the Executive Master in Public Administration Program, Evans School, University of Washington; the Northwest Alternative Dispute Resolution Conference; and the Association of Conflict Resolution’s International Conference. Stephanie has been active with the Work of Byron Katie since 1999, and has attended and staffed five nine-day facilitation schools.
