Tajaé Gaynor

Tajaé Gaynor is currently the Supervisor of School Based Programs for Westchester Mediation Center in Yonkers, New York. Tajaé developed a passion for Conflict Resolution over 17 years ago as a Junior High School peer mediator. He earned his undergraduate degree in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of criminal justice and is currently attending Columbia University’s School of Continuing education to attain his graduate degree in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution. Tajaé works with hundreds of young people per year teaching the ideology and skills of Conflict Resolution. His commitment to teaching violence prevention has earned him national recognition by the Democratic Congressional leadership in 1999 and the Association of Conflict Resolution in 2004. He was the recipient of the James B. Boskey Youth Leadership Award in 2003. He has been a youth participant in SPIDR and facilitated workshops for both youth and adults at annual conferences. He is ACR’s first Diversity and Equity Director
