In our final week of watching Carol’s struggle with Mike and her team, we see the outcome which many organisations are all too familiar with, as the employer is now Counting the Costs.
This need not have happened! There were at least five points on the way when the situation could have taken a turn for the better. But if an investigation is inevitable, then the quicker it’s carried out, the faster a line can be drawn under the situation.
