Ms. Van Horne has successfully mediated a variety of disputes, and is available to mediate cases in both Nebraska and Iowa. She has particular expertise in the area of personal injury, where her years of litigation experience for both plaintiffs and defendants provide insight into how a case will progress to verdict. She regularly performs pro bono mediations as an affiliated mediator with the Concord Mediation Center. Ms. Van Horne is a member of the Nebraska Mediation Association and the American Academy of ADR Attorneys.
Ms. Van Horne is admitted to practice in Nebraska, Iowa, the United States District Court for the District of Nebraska, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Iowa and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Iowa. She practices regularly before the state and federal courts in Iowa and Nebraska.
Ms. Van Horne obtained her J.D. from the University of Iowa College of Law, and her B.A. from Dana College in Blair, Nebraska. She also obtained both a M.A. and an M.S. from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
