I am a sole practitioner (Mediator) since June, 2017. Previously I was a Senior Staff Mediator with the EEOC for over 20 years. Currently, I am a sub-contractor for the Department of Interior to conduct mediation/facilitation, as well as a roster Mediator for the Colorado Dept. of Special Education. My main style is facilitative, but I go where the parties lead me and am flexible in switching styles.
I am a trained Mediator who has been practicing for over 25 years in the area of employment law, discrimination, and workplace disputes both in the private and public sectors.
I am a long-standing Professional Member of the Association of Conflict (ACR) and TheMAC. Recently I joined the Colorado Bar Association’s ADR Section and LERA. In addition, I provide pro bono mediation services for the Colorado Federal Executive Board’s ADR CADRE.
I am a seasoned Mediator with over 25 years of experience. While a Senior Investigator at the EEOC I negotiated settlement agreements in employment discrimination cases. I am constantly updating my skills by attending webinars and online training sessions, in addition to in-person seminars when available.
My main style is facilitative, however, I can switch or incorporate other styles when necessary. It is important to address the needs of the parties and to be flexible.
Over 200 hours of conflict resolution training.
Although my hourly rate is $225.00, I do request a deposit of $900.00 prior to the start of the mediation. There are additional fees for travel, expenses, and other costs.
