As an advocate, I have participated in hundreds of mediations and arbitrations over the last 28 years in cases involving personal injury, including vehicle accidents (cars, trucks and motorcycles), trips and falls, products liability cases, burn and electrocution cases, professional liability claims against EMS and fire agencies and insurance coverage and insurance bad faith cases. I have worked with many different mediators and arbitrators in these cases and I have paid close attention to what works in mediation and what does not work. I have gained valuable information from my mediation training and in working with several ADR professionals over the years, which I use in my own mediation practice today.
Following my mediation training, I have mediated and co-mediated approximately three dozen cases.
I have participated in hundreds of mediations and arbitrations as an advocate. As a neutral, I have arbitrated 75-80 cases and mediated nearly three dozen cases.
Trained at Pepperdine Caruso School of Law and Middle District of Pennsylvania, my approach to mediation is more facilitative than evaluative, so that the parties have the best chance of coming to self-determined agreements based on shared information and an understanding of interests and needs.
I obtained a B.A. degree in Political Science from Temple University in 1990 and a law degree from Widener University School of Law (Delaware Campus) in 1993.
