At Piedmont Mediation, LLC we take a facilitative, interest-based approach, understanding that the best resolutions are those achieved by the parties themselves. The parties generally know the issues and priorities, personalities and obstacles to a successful resolution as well as their own needs better than a mediator or attorney. We assist the parties in creating options that meet the needs and desires of both sides. I can also be quick to point out some of the realistic outcomes of potential litigation, especially when there is a stall in the proceedings.
