Frederick Wagner

My practice is dedicated to helping parties resolve their civil litigation matters, using my litigation background to help adversarial parties evaluate the risks involved in proceeding to trial versus settling their dispute on their own, mutually agreeable terms. It also allows parties a chance to either avoid proceeding to, or shortening the length of, litigation. If you need an experienced neutral, who will work toward getting your dispute resolved, contact me today to discuss whether I can assist you with your concerns. I am a Credentialed Advanced Mediator from the Texas Mediator Credentialing Association, and an AV Preeminent Rated Attorney, involved in civil litigation matters for more than 30 years. My litigation and mediation practices have involved premises liability, products liability, transportation related claims, and general negligence involving personal injury and wrongful death. I have also handled matters related to toxic tort, subrogation, first party insurance and breach of contract/lease and consumer claims.

I spent nearly twenty years representing clients and businesses in cases involving personal injury, wrongful death, property damage, premises liability, toxic tort and business-related claims, with many of those cases involving mediation as the preferred method to resolve the dispute. I next took that experience in evaluating liability and damages for my clients with me as I started my work as a mediator. For over a decade, I have assisted parties in resolving their civil disputes in many of the same areas in which I practiced as a litigator.

ADR Experience

Certified Advanced Mediator with the Texas Mediator Credentialing Association, with a decade of experience handling a variety of civil law disputes. I am also an active volunteer mediator for the Harris County Dispute Resolution Center, am on the AAA Consumer Claims Panel, and serve as a Special Commissioner for Harris County eminent domain cases.

Approach

In over thirty years of civil litigation practice, I have handled a variety of different types of cases, involving various areas of the law. This gives me an insight into the types of litigation that most individuals and businesses encounter, and experience in evaluating potential strengths and weaknesses of each side. In my civil practice, I have represented clients in hundreds of mediations, and recognize the important role that dispute resolution plays in our legal system. I am firm in my belief that mediation can be an effective tool in resolving contentious or emotional disputes between parties, whether they involve alleged tortfeasors and injured parties, or two companies in a business dispute. It is this experience and belief that I bring to each mediation. I offer my services as a neutral to interested parties, seeking to resolve their differences in a controlled, confidential environment.
