I mediate divorces for ALL Massachusetts courts and counties, including Worcester and Middlesex, via Zoom. Transparent flat fee pricing. Ivy League trained. Over 1600 divorce cases successfully mediated. Physical offices in Amherst, Springfield, and Boston. My practice is 100% divorce mediation. Getting divorced and resolving family law issues involves transitions that are not easy. I am an experienced divorce mediator and family lawyer, and I will guide you through these transitions with compassion, treating you and your concerns with respect. We will work together, one issue at a time, to create solutions that work for you and your family and ensure that the focus stays on the healthiest process and outcome for you and your children.
In terms of style, I am an active mediator. When you get stuck, I will suggest a range of options. When you ask legal questions, I will give you abundant legal information. If you have financial questions, I will explain how financial issues are addressed in court, and I will show you in black-and-white numbers what it means in your case. I use my knowledge of the law, my facility with divorce financial issues, and my interpersonal skills to make sure you both understand your options at each step of the process and you both understand the financial implications of each decision you make. This active approach is crucial to “leveling the playing field” in mediation, so a partner with a stronger personality does not dominate the process.
Finally, I am unusually comfortable with numbers and divorce finances. I graduated from Brown University in Economics, magna cum laude and with honors. I do QDROs for clients and I do actuarial pension present value calculations in house. If you explore my website, you will find some divorce financial calculators that exist nowhere else and some that you can normally only access by paying a divorce financial planner thousands of dollars.
I have been mediating divorces since 2003.
