Ms. Kwawer boasts an illustrious career spanning three decades in the legal and financial sectors.

While her experience includes an extensive background in the financial industry to include arbitration, management, and surveillance, this background has prepared her for a legal career centered on guardian ad litem advocacy, business and family mediation, and parenting conflict resolution. She brings an educated maturity honed by years of customer service, employee management, and professional courtesy to develop plans in the best interest of all parties involved. Life experience coupled with interpersonal skills make her an ideal candidate to advocate for children and parents in a legal setting.
She is skilled at assessing individual needs, advocating for the best interest of the child, and streamlining communication among involved parties. Her ability to defuse hostile situations and build rapport has been instrumental in reaching amicable resolutions during difficult conversations.

Establishing a firm foundation for her career, Ms. Kwawer attained a Bachelor of Science in business management from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, followed by a Juris Doctor from Mitchell Hamline School of Law. She also possesses several certifications from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, including Series 10, Series 9, Series 24, Series 66, Series 63, and Series 7. Additionally, she is licensed to practice law by the Missouri State Bar and is a member of the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis. She also services as a FINRA nonpublic Arbitrator when selected.

Ms. Kwawer’s commitment extends beyond her professional endeavors to active engagement in civic affairs. She serves as a board member for Payback STL and Helping Hand Me Downs, holds memberships in esteemed organizations such as the Association of Missouri Mediators, and the National Society of Compliance Professionals. Fees and Provisos

Evening and weekend appointments are available to accommodate the needs of working families.

Mediation:

Initial Meeting 2 Hours – $400 (this includes document coordination and review)

Additional Time: $200 per hour

Virtual meetings available via Zoom or Teams.

Arbitration: 

$200 per hour with an initial retainer of $3,000.
