Nicole Lance, JD, CSA
Welcome! I practice adult family (which includes “elder”) mediation here in the S.F. Bay Area. Several years ago, following an earlier career as a business attorney, I shifted professional focus because I enjoy working with adult families, helping them find practical solutions and ways to reduce anxiety through the mediation process. I am also a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA), possessessing generalized knowledge about many facets relevant to aging, e.g. healthcare, caregiving, finances, inheritance and trust administration, etc.
Generally speaking, I am “facilitative” in approach, meaning that I focus primarily on helping family members improve their understanding of their situation and goals, while clarifying differences and helping them find common ground. If the family desires, I will become more “evaluative” in approach, offering general information and perspective, though never advice.
My website www.mediateforward.com provides more information.
