This Mediator is Certified
Since 2003, Althea Halchuck has been the principal of Dispute to Resolution, a firm dedicated to mediating civil and community disputes. She has extensive training and experience in every conflict arena and has mediated nearly a thousand disputes. Additionally, Althea advocates for seniors, helping them manage adult family conflict as they near the end of their life. In 2012, she earned an Executive Juris Doctor (EJD) from Concord Law School. Her degree provides an in-depth understanding of relevant laws and regulations around thorny elder and end-of-life issues. She also has advanced training in Clinical Ethics Consultations in the ICU and at the bedside. Her recent designation is a Board Certified Patient Advocate (BCPA). Since 2015 she has been a Certified Thanatologist: Death, Dying & Bereavement (CT) is from the Association for Death Education and Counseling. Althea has combined her experience in conflict resolution with her end-of-life training to help families find peaceful resolutions and a "good death" for their dying loved ones.
