County, cities conclude mediation; will discuss ‘revenue sharing’ to resolve dispute

ROCKINGHAM — The mediation between Richmond County and the cities of Rockingham and Hamlet regarding what the cities allege was a breach of contract by the county has concluded with a “tentative agreement” to discuss a solution to the battle over the sales tax distribution method.
