Cory Mathews is a family mediator at Clackamas County Family Court Services. He has provided court-connected and parent-teen mediation for over ten years. He has eighteen years of experience working with teenagers, in particular facilitating negotiations between parents and their runaway and homeless teens to allow a safe return home. Cory trains teens and adults in parent-teen mediation, assists in training police and community members in basic and advanced mediation, and supervises interns seeking to meet the qualifications for court-connected domestic relations mediation in Oregon. He has a master’s degree in Conflict Resolution, and has taught university courses as an adjunct. Cory has a particular interest in instituting child-inclusive mediation practices in the United States.
