Elina Mereminskaya

Elina Mereminskaya studied law at the Immanuel Kant Baltic Federal University (formerly known as State University of Kaliningrad) where she graduated from with the highest distinction (1996). She later received a LLM degree with highest distinction from the Georg-August University of Göttingen, Germany (1998) y the Ph.D. degree with the magna cum laude distinction, from the same University (2001).
In 2013 she joined the International Arbitration Group at the leading Chilean law firm Bofill Mir & Alvarez Jana. Between 2007 and 2013 she worked as Special Counsel for International Arbitration of the Center for Arbitration and Mediation of the Santiago Chamber of Commerce (CAM Santiago).
Since 2003 she has been a lecturer at the Law School of the University of Chile, on the undergraduate and postragrudate levels, teaching conflict of laws, international contracts and international arbitration. Elina Mereminskaya is the Co-Managing Editor of the ITA Arbitration Report and the ITA Board of Reporters. Ms. Mereminskaya is also the Co-Managing Editor of World Trade and Arbitration Materials (also published by Kluwer International), Co-Managing Editor of the ITA Scoreboard of Adherence to Transnational Arbitration Treaties and a Member at Large of the ITA Advisory Board and its Executive Committee. Elina Mereminskaya has authored numerous publications on international arbitration.
