Jason A. Waxman

Jason is currently the lead mediation researcher for BASESwiki (www.baseswiki.org), an online dispute resolution community focused on satiating the information gap concerning the use of non-judicial grievance mechanisms for companies and their external stakeholders. BASESwiki is a project out of the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, under mandate of the United Nations Secretary-General’s Special Representative for Business and Human Rights, in collaboration with the International Bar Association and Compliance Advisor/Ombudsman of the World Bank Group.   
 
From 2004 to 2005 Jason worked as an analytics and marketing specialist for NAVigator Capital, a hedge fund based out of Toronto.  In 2006, he established a successful property management firm, Addison Estates. Jason graduated on the Deans’ Honours List with an Honours Bachelor of Commerce from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. He currently serves as the Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Waxman Capital, a privately held wealth management firm in Toronto. He is also the author of The Stelco Restructuring Paradox. Jason is currently a graduate student pursuing his Masters of Science in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution at Columbia University.
