Josh Srago is an award winning technology consultant currently pursuing a JD to assist with translating how changing policies such as net neutrality, privacy, and data security affect commercial communications, smart cities and buildings, and providers of these services. Srago's work experience has encompassed time as a technology consultant for higher education and Fortune 500 companies, as a manufacturer's consultant liaison and trainer, and as manager of engineering for a low voltage contractor This experienced shaped the ideas that that modern technology systems should be unified to create seamless integration and enhanced user experiences. As an industry pundit and volunteer, has served as Editor-at-Large for AVNation and as a contributor to Commercial Integrator magazine and Sound and Communications magazine. His efforts in industry development have been recognized by several groups with InfoComm International awarding him the Young AV Professional of 2016, the NSCA granting him the Randy Vaughan Founder's Award in 2015, as well as, being included as one of Consulting Specifying Engineer's 40 Under 40 of 2017, and one the audiovisual industry's 40 Most Influential Under 40 by Commercial Integrator magazine in 2014.
