Linda McSweyn is a full time attorney/neutral in San Francisco providing mediation and fact-finding services specializing in employment, partnership and business disputes. She also serves as an ombuds person for various colleges and universities. From 1997 to 2000, she was associated with the San Francisco law firm of Berman, Berkley & Lasky as ‘Of Counsel’. Prior to 1997, Ms. McSweyn practiced law in-house as a general counsel and chief human resources officer for a non-profit college system and as head of the legal department for a Fortune 500 food manufacturing corporation.
Ms. McSweyn has served or is serving as a neutral on the panels of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (‘EEOC’) for Northern California, California Community Dispute Services, the Office of Citizen Complaints in San Francisco (Hearing Officer), California Department of Insurance, the United States District Court of Northern California and the California Court of Appeal, First District. She has served as a guest lecturer for mediation and ADR courses at colleges and universities.
