Marie Paoletti has been a Mediator for 8 years for Mediation Services, Castro Valley, doing business, community and family mediations. She has been Mediation Trainer for 5 years, teaching both a Professional’s Mediation class and Police Officers Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.) Law Enforcement Mediation Class for the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO). She is also the Coordinator for Law Enforcement for Mediation Services. Marie was a 19-year employee of the City of Alameda and for eight years conducted labor contract negotiations for the City Employees. She is currently a Sheriff’s Technician for the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office. Her education is Divorce mediation and Cultural Diversity training at Calif. State University Hayward, Cultural and Workplace Mediation at John F. Kennedy University Orinda, Business Mediation training at the University of Berkeley, Community Mediation training and Train the Trainer at Mediation Services, Castro Valley. She has several units in labor studies and contract negotiations from Laney College Oakland.
