Maureen Dabbagh is a Certified Virginia Supreme Court Juvenile and Domestic Relations Mediator. She received her Advanced Cross border Mediation training at the University of Miami, School of Law. She is the author of two books on the subject of parental abduction, Recovery of Internationally Abducted Children and Parental Kidnapping in America: An Historical and Cultural Analysis. Dabbagh has worked in more than 1,200 international child abduction cases over the past twenty years and has been recognized as an expert by courts across the United States resulting in case law. She has provided testimony on this issue before both the state and federal Congress as well as the United Nations, Human Rights Commission.
