Prof. (Dr.) P.P.Mitra has been researching, teaching and writing on various issues on law including Corporate Laws for nearly two decades. Presently he is Dean, Faculty of Law, Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur, Rajasthan. Previously he served as Assistant Dean (Academic Affairs) and as Registrar (in Charge) at National University of Study & Research in Law, Ranchi. He was also engaged as Senior Consultant (Grade I) with Department of
Justice, Ministry of Law & Justice, Government of India, New Delhi. He has been invited to deliver lectures as resource person at Indian Law Institute, New Delhi, Indian Society for international Law, New Delhi, Panjab University, Jharkhand Judicial Academy, Indian Institute of Management Ranchi. He has written books titled, Wild Animal Protection Laws in India (LexisNexis, 2016), An Introduction to Animal Laws in India (Thomson Reuters, 2019) and Birds, Wetlands and the Law: Indian & International Perspective (Thomson Reuters, 2019).
