Timothy Germany has worked for the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service since l984. He mediates labor disputes in a wide variety of industries: auto, steel, health care, chemical, and national media in the private sector as well as mediations and trainings in the Federal Sector. He establishes and maintains Labor Management Committees.
His Alternative Dispute Resolution work includes the mediation of age discrimination and EEOC complaints with Federal agencies, postal management mediations, and work place grievances. His trainings involve Appreciative Inquiry, chaos theory, complex adaptive systems, conflict resolution, cultural change, win-win problem solving, negotiations, and the administration of labor contracts.
His international ADR work includes workshops in Lesotho, Africa, and in Canada. He holds a Masters degree in Industrial Labor Relations and a Masters degree in Social Work from Cornell/Baruch and the University of Michigan respectively.
