Toran Hansen (Tory) received his BA in Sociology and Anthropology at Simon Fraser University, Vancouver (93), and his MA in Conflict Analysis and Resolution at Nova Southeastern, Ft. Lauderdale (04). His work experience includes being program director of a youth supervision program, a human rights advocate and a life skills counselor. He has held several research assistantships, one at the Institute of Child Health Policy, Nova Southeastern. He has also published a paper on the role of conflict resolution and the campaign to ban landmines. Toran has a Twin Cities Federal Scholarship and will be working this year with Dr. Umbreit.
