Your favorite holiday is right around the corner.
That’s right – every 3rd Thursday of October is Conflict Resolution Day.
And this year at Mediate.com we are so excited to team up with ADR Notable, Guthrie Consulting, and multiple community mediation centers to discuss how we can share mediation.
But our team isn’t complete without you.
So we have a specific ask: can you commit to sharing mediation outside of our lovely mediation circle? We are asking everyone to pledge here and describe how they are going to share mediation on Oct 17th.
The purpose? At Mediate.com, we are reaching out to organization and court heads to encourage mediation, and we are hoping to support this with a grassroots community shift towards mediation.
Some ideas:
Talk to your HOA about bringing in a mediator for their next meeting
Ask your City Council to bring in a mediator to facilitate
Contact your local juvenile center to mediate victim-offender disputes
Share these slides on mediation – email them or embed on your site to help people understand the basics.
What else ya got?
Are you hosting an event? Tell us about it and we’ll post it here.
And just for fun – we are also holding a raffle for everyone who creates a TikTok or meme.
So, dear mediation community, 1) Pledge your creative idea here and 2) Send us your TikTok, or meme, or video, or joke by Oct 17
