Family Roots With a Shared Passion for Justice
Alex has deep roots and a commitment to the Hispanic community. His father, Waldo De Castroverde, originally from Havana, played a significant role in his journey. Waldo’s story includes serving as a paratrooper during the Bay of Pigs invasion in Cuba. In 1978, he, along with his wife and their four children, made the life-changing decision to move to Reno.
Waldo started working as a blackjack dealer during the day and attending law school at night. He aspired to be one of the first attorneys in Nevada to establish a law office with a primary focus on representing the Hispanic community.
This commitment to making legal services accessible and inclusive laid the foundation for what would become De Castroverde Law Group.
Legal Experience, Ambition, and Community Involvement
Alex De Castroverde’s journey to becoming a Las Vegas personal injury lawyer was marked by dedication and education. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Nevada, Reno, in 1995 and his J.D. from Nova Southeastern University in 1999.
In 2005, De Castroverde Law Group was founded as an extension of the Law Office of Waldo De Castroverde. Starting with a modest team of three attorneys, Alex has helped the firm grow. It employs over 20 attorneys and a dedicated staff of more than 100 professionals.
