

Megan is a Certified Mediator through the Montana Mediation Association and volunteers for the Conflict Resilience Project through Billings Mediation Center after taking part in their training program. She completed her Basic Mediation Training course through Mediate.com, a Family Dispute Resolution Training through Billings Mediation Clinic and Mediate.com, Workplace mediation training through Mediation Training Institute (MTI) at Eckerd College, as well as many other online mediation courses through Mediate.com. She is actively continuing her education through webinars, conferences, and classes. She is open to mediating all types of conflict, as well as offering workplace conflict trainings based on the Mediation Training Institute’s curriculum. She works virtually, as well as in person.
With a PhD in Statistics, her primary career for the last 20 years has been statistical consulting to improve use of statistical inference in science and decision making. She has worked for herself since 2018 and before that was mainly working in academia, including a tenured Associate Professor of Statistics at Montana State University. She is founder and owner of Critical Inference LLC (Statistical consulting) and Balancing Rock Facilitation (mediation, mindfulness meditation, group facilitation).
She is getting close to completing a two-year Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program with Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield and very involved with volunteering with the Bozeman Insight Community and the Bozeman Dharma Center. She will be offering more classes in the future and is also excited to offer mindfulness meditation practices for groups and as part of other organizations meetings or conferences.
