Joy S. Rosenthal, Esq. founded Rosenthal Law & Mediation in 2006 to help New York families cope with transitions through divorce and family mediation. She is an active member of the NADP Rockland County chapter, the NYS Council on Divorce Mediation and the Center for Understanding in Conflict, where she trains and mentors new mediators. Joy taught family law at the CUNY School of Law for 5 semesters and is a frequent guest lecturer at college and law school classes. She also blogs frequently about conflict resolution and family law. The child support calculator on Joy's website is used by attorneys and court personnel throughout New York State. Joy served as the Trustee of the William J. (“Count”) Basie Trust for 13 years, and has served as Guardian and Guardian Ad Litem in Surrogates’ Courts in the NYC area.
