Yvette Durazo is a bilingual (Spanish/English) expert in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) with over 14 years of experience specializing in mediation, facilitation, dispute systems design, restorative justice, conflict coaching, and trainer development. She works extensively with nonprofit organizations, family-owned businesses, government agencies, and educational institutions, helping them create healthier, more collaborative environments.
Yvette holds a Master’s Degree in Negotiation, Conflict Resolution, and Peacebuilding from California State University Dominguez Hills, along with a Human Resources Management Certificate from the University of California, Santa Cruz Extension. She is also a credentialed coach through the International Coach Federation (ICF).
Her credentials include:
- Three 40-hour mediation certifications in Transformative Mediation, Facilitative Mediation, and Online Mediation
- Apprenticeship with the EEOC (Equal Employment Opportunity Commission) conducting federal workplace mediations

Yvette formerly served as the ADR Program Administrator for the Alameda County Superior Court (California), where she managed the court-connected mediator panel and facilitated access to dispute resolution services. She has served on multiple court rosters and currently holds a leadership position as an Executive Committee Member for the ADR Section of the Alameda County Bar Association.

2012-2015 2 124 Mediation/Facilitation process for victims and offenders throughout San Diego County. Mediation involved conducted visitation in school, homes, or office and do an information interview process before setting the case for me mediated among the victim and offender.
